Build a Referral Machine Before You’re Desperate
Don't wait until you're dry to start asking for referrals.
Create moments in your process where people naturally want to refer you:
After a value-packed demo or conversation with a person who is a center of influence
When they say, “This is exactly what we needed,” Sign me up - First things first collect the cash, but don’t just send the Stripe link or contract, calling it over - You have the opportunity to ask for a referral
Make it easy, specific, and low-stakes: (Honest story from me, the first time I did this I thought I was going to throwup… guess what happened)
“Know 1–2 folks like you I should talk to?”
